Oculoplastics and Oncology Service
The Oculoplastics and Oncology Service is dedicated to excellence in the
diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the eyelids, the lacrimal systems
(tear ducts), and the orbit (eye socket). This service is also a major
part of the Duke Center for Aesthetic Services. Services also include
the management of ophthalmic cancers involving the eye and periocular
area.
Cosmetic laser surgery is also offered for many of your eye and skin
care needs.
If you are a patient seeking information about an upcoming visit to the
Oculoplastics Service, please browse What
to Expect at Your Visit. There, you will find helpful information
for your appointment, the types of tests you might be given, and the
people who will be involved with your care. You will also find useful
information that will prepare you for oculoplastic surgery. For a brief
summary on the symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of the more common
conditions, browse About
Oculoplastic Procedures.
If you are a physician in need of referral information, go to Referrals/Services
for a list of provided services and referral phone numbers.
In Meet
the Doctors, you will find short biographical sketches on the
Oculoplastics faculty members. This may also be helpful for referring
patients with specific problems.
