Research Interests

Hyuncheol Kim’s, PhD, research interests are ocular drug delivery. In collaboration with Karl G. Csaky, MD, PhD and Scott W Cousins, MD, Dr. Kim is interested in developing a unique drug delivery system to the retina to increase therapeutic efficacy. In addition, Dr. Kim has focused on understanding the movement of intravitreally or subconjunctivally administered therapeutic agents in the eye.

Dr. Kim is also interested in developing nanotechnology based ocular drug delivery systems in collaboration with Kam Leong, PhD in the biomedical engineering.
