Research interests

Gonzalez's research interests include mechanisms of aqueous humor outflow modulation. Role of chronic oxidative stress in the pathophysiology of the outflow pathway in glaucoma. Molecular mechanisms regulating stress induced cellular senescence and pathophysiological relevance of cellular senescence in glaucoma.
