Background

Michael Richard, MD, is a cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in diseases of the eyelids, orbit, and lacrimal system. He is experienced in all forms of oculoplastic surgery, including cosmetic laser eyelid, reconstructive eyelid, and BOTOX and Restylane injections. Richard’s research interests include studies on the aging changes of the human face, new treatment modalities for blepharospasm, and minimizing complications from orbital implants. He is involved in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows at Duke Eye Center.
