Background

Brooks McCuen, MD, is an internationally acclaimed specialist in both medical and surgical diseases of the retina and posterior segment. His primary surgical interests include retinal detachment, proliferative vitreoretinopathy, diabetic retinopathy, posterior segment trauma, and age-related macular degeneration. He has a special area of interest in the treatment of macular holes, and he has edited a book on the subject. His current research interests focus on innovative approaches to pharmacological vitreoloysis. He has consistently been honored as one of the Best Doctors in America.
